This is another useless product from Telebrands. Magnets do not work on the human body to re-align bone. If you are having posture problems... do exercises to reinforce and strengthen.”
Why BODY-ALINE is Better for Your Posture:
A posture brace can be a very effective short term fix for poor posture because the compression from the fabric forces the shoulders down and back, which draws your head & spine rearward. Drawing the shoulders down & back is integral for correcting poor posture.
However, the same mechanism utilized by various posture: braces, vests, wraps & straps to draw your shoulders down and back, is also their downfall. Over time, the compression provided by the taught fabric actually weakens your muscles because the compression is doing the 'work' your postural muscles should be be doing. Think about it. If the tightness of the fabric is pulling your shoulders down & back, then what are your muscles doing? NOTHING. And muscles that do nothing eventually become weaker. You'll find this out when you take the brace off & discover that your posture may have actually gotten worse - compared to when you started. Now you MUST wear your posture brace ALL the time to ensure good posture because you can't rely on your newly weakened back muscles to do it.
The BODY-ALINE strengthens your postural muscles - as opposed to weakening them, like posture supports, braces & correctors do. Because it permanently makes your posture muscles stronger - not weaker, the BODY-ALINE is a far more permanent, sensible (and less sweaty) solution for posture.
The problem with traditional posture braces is that they do the work for you. The passive nature of having one's shoulders pulled back serves to weaken the back muscles, which actually worsens one's posture over time, thus defeating the very purpose of using a posture correction brace.

A Personal Review of Royal Posture from Robert Gearhart JR., Co-inventor of the BODY-ALINE...
"Wearable posture supports, wraps, vests & braces can be very deceiving. Upon initial impression, the premise of these products seems sound: Wear the posture aid around your arms, shoulders and/or torso and your posture immediately improves - and it will. However, are you are looking for a short term or long term solution?
In the short term, when posture braces are worn intermittently, like, say, to a dinner party, they serve their purpose. However, in the long term, a posture brace will ultimately do more harm than good because their prolonged use can actually weaken some very crucial posture muscles. Think about it this way: Have you ever worn a cast for any period of time -or- know someone who has? What happens when the cast is removed? The muscles that were surrounded by the cast have become much weaker and, in some cases, completely atrophied. To a lesser extent, a posture compression brace or support has the same 'cast-like' effect on your postural muscles when worn for an extended period of time. If you insist on wearing some type of posture brace, please do so no more than once a week."
